Homeowners
We specialize in Homeowners Insurance coverage in South Florida, and as an Independent Insurance Agency we represent a number of insurers, one or more of which will meet your needs, depending on the age, location, and Replacement Cost* of your property. They will offer you a full Homeowner Policy at competitive premiums.
More basic coverage is also available to you, if you wish to reduce your premiums. For example you may wish to purchase only Actual Cash Value coverage on your Personal Property.
We have insurers available for homes of all ages and will use our expertise to provide you with coverage that suits your needs, on the best terms available. For example if you have no mortgage on your property, you may wish to consider purchasing a Dwelling Fire policy, to keep costs down. Payment plans and premium financing are generally available if required.
*Replacement Cost
Replacement cost of your property means: The present day cost of rebuilding your home, to the same standard as existed prior to a loss. It is not related to the market value of your property, which includes the value of the land, and other factors.
*Florida Licensed Insurers
As well as having their financial stability, and business practices continuously scrutinized by State officials, Florida Licensed insurers give an extra measure of security to the insurance buyer. In the event of financial failure, for example due to catastrophic hurricane losses, the Florida Insurance Guaranty Fund will reimburse insureds for unpaid insurance claims up to $300,000.
*Windstorm Mitigation Factors or Devices
You can get significant premium savings for approved Windstorm Mitigation factors and devices such as impact glass or storm shutters on all openings, roof straps, superior roof sheathing, and water proofing. If you believe you qualify for credit for any of these or other items, we will be pleased to recommend an inspection service to you. If you obtain a mitigation credit it will more than cover the cost of the inspection.
